When I choose "Layout-Portfolio" this pops up. "No suitable preview area found."

And it doesn’t work. Is there something else necessary, I’ve done this a few times and haven’t had this problem.

Added Note
I probably forgot how to do this but I’ve created the page and assigned the “Layout-Portfolio” , activated it, and created a Portfolio Item. It doesn’t show on the front end and gives this error (all PHP setting are good) No suitable preview area found.

Is there no Portfolio Layout in the “Starter” Stack?

Hello @Emperor,

I checked your settings, and it seems that you have set the page template to Layout - Portfolio. Please note that if you set the Layout - Portfolio, then the page becomes an archive page, so you can not edit the page through the page builder. I have set the featured image for your portfolio posts, and please check your site. You need to set the category for the portfolio posts as well.

Hope it helps
Thanks

the current page at URL/portfoli-items shows the 2 items, why can’t I change the slug, and the directions shown for this say to create a page and assign the Layout-Portfolio. Are there current accurate instructions?

Hello @Emperor,

You can create a portfolio layout using the page template you have created, and the page URL is https://alphalogisticsolution.com/projects/.
It will render the default layout according to the selected theme stack. If you want to create a custom layout for the Portfolio, you can use the Pro theme Layout builder to design one for the portfolio archive page. Please review this document to learn more about creating a custom layout:
https://theme.co/docs/layout-builder-overview
https://theme.co/docs/archive-templates.

After designing the layout, you also need to assign it: https://theme.co/docs/conditions-and-assignments.

In case you want to change the portfolio slug, please go to the Theme options–>portfolio–>Custom URL Slug.

Hope it helps
Thanks
