Hi,
I am trying to create a wiki style layout very similar to https://theme.co/docs/. So it will have left side navigation and right side content. Both sides scroll independently. In mobile view the navigation becomes dropdown style.
ideally the left navigation may change depending in which page is shown.
Any help is appreciated as i can’t find a template in design cloud that looks similar.

Add a section as set up the Row like 4 & 8 columns.
Add the Navigation Inline element for the desktop and Navigation Dropdown element for the mobile device. You can show hide the menu element for different breakpoints.

For that specific layout, you need to create Side Header and set the Navigation into it. But for that, you need to customize the header option that is only available with the Header Builder of Pro not with X which you are using. To get the customizable headers, I would suggest you upgrade to the Pro theme, please go through the process here: https://theme.co/docs/converting-from-x-to-pro
I would also suggest you go through the following article on how to use the Header Builder and the setup of the navigations.
NOTE: If you need to show the content without refreshing the Page, you need to set up the One Page Navigation as suggested by my colleague Prakash.
