Does anyone else feel stuck and confused navigating between the classic elements and the V2 elements? I created my site right before the major V2 update and roll out. Some time has now passed and I want to do some more major updates and edits to freshen up my site. However, it’s confusing navigating between what I’ve created initially and the new set up…not only the V2 elements but the move from Customizer global settings to theme manager settings. I feel like I need to completely rebuild my site using all the updated (preferred?) elements and methods. Are there any resources out there explaining how best to blend these two…i’ll call them versions? Help.

With the major v2 update, we have move away from the Customizer. All settings related to the theme can now be access in X > Theme Options. All your settings previously have added via Customizer should still be present in the X > Theme Options. What has left in the Customizer are basically those from WordPress defaults and setting and some plugin settings if it applies.
