Revolution Slider has all sorts of problems

First, this update is costing me a fortune in updates. Half my sliders are either missing or have to be fixed and I have a ton of sites and have to pay my developer to fix each one as I update!

Then, when I do the update, it puts me into some free subscription package so I only get 3 sliders. I thought Rev Slider was packaged with X and X Pro?

I need a fix asap - I seriously can’t afford to have all of these redone! This update is KILLING me. I wish we would have gotten some sort of notice over how bad this update is!

I am most desperate to get rid of the FREE 3 modules only thing - I have to be able to add an additional slider asap, please, thanks!

I’m running X 10.8.5

I have / had the same issue. I contacted Rev Slider support. They are pushing out all the legacy V6 ‘Lifetime Key’ licenses and not-so-gently forcing V7 on us. All of my sites were broken. Of course I found out via clients calling me. I had to redownload V6 plugins from the licenses tab and reinstall on most of my sites. Any of them that aren’t using anything fancy, I readded the V6 key to and my most important clients got the ‘subscription’ licenses added to the sites. It was a game of whack-a-mole for a minute until I figured out what was happening. Really bad experience with customer service and support when I was originally troubleshooting. Good Luck Friend

TL:DR It’s not Themeco or Cornerstone, It’s the RevSlider Plugin

Thanks Michael! Yah, it’s been a bad tech month for me (and it’s only the 8th of April!), this is the third issue I have had to deal with just this week! The planets must be misaligned. haha
But I’m always glad when it isn’t just me. It sounds like tons of people are having issues.

Hello @viamaria,

Kindly check out these threads:

Best Regards.

I had read those and I had gone back to 6 and then to 7 but it didn’t fix anything. So I’m not sure if you’re just telling me to put all of my sliders back to 6 and wait for a themeco update? I just need the license issue fixed to really get going.

Hello @viamaria,

If your sliders were created with the SR6 or lower, you will need to process them to be compatible with the SR7. You can manually load each of the sliders in the SR6 editor and just hit the save button. This method is tested by most users having the issue. If you can give us access to your site that would be great too. We would be happy to double check your site if we can log in. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:

Best Regards.

While these things aren’t totally solving the problems, the biggest problem I have is that I am restricted to only 3 rev sliders. I cannot make more. This is killing me!
