Hello, I am trying to download gym site demo and the progress is about 20 minutes on initializing mode. What is going wrong?

Hey Giannis,

Thanks for providing the status of your site. The settings look sufficient. However, there are a few more factors affecting the demo install aside from what’s listed on the Status page. We are currently working to discover what else can cause demo install issues and hopefully add them to our documentation.

Below are the tested settings that fixed demo install issues. Set them to the specified value or higher.

  • max_allowed_packet to 16mb
  • innodb_log_file_size to 128mb

Also, set allow_url_fopen to On. And, if you have installed ConvertPlus, please temporarily deactivate it to install a demo as there’s currently a conflict with our theme which will be fixed in the next theme version.

If none of that helps, regretfully, we need you to move your development site online as we can’t investigate an offline site. Once you moved your site, give us the following info in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • FTP access

Unfortunately none of that helps solves the problem, so I move my development site online, but when I input the validation code, I take the on the validation panel the following message:

Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.

What about that??

Problem solved at last!!!

I was assign the license code to my staging site url to my localhost site, and after this I manage to download gym demo content to localhost.
