Header headline & text layout

Hi, I’m trying to recreate the headline & text layout as in this example… https://www.tftconsultants.com/sectors/

I’ve got it looking the way that I want it to look, but I feel that the way I created it using a Pro Header is incorrect as I’ve lost responsiveness.

My development site and page is https://staging2.rdw.co.nz/sectors/

Any help and direction would be appreciated, thank you.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the very detailed post information. Actually you are doing it incorrectly if we base the layout from the example URL. In the example page, it is using two separate sections that show/hides in different screen sizes.

In your case, you should do the same. You can show/hide a section by utilizing the “Hide During Breakpoints” option in the section settings. Check out the documentation for further information:

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can create an example sections for you. Please create a secure note with the following info:

Hi @ruenel, I’ve provided administrator access to the site. That would be good if you wouldn’t mind setting it up correctly for me. That I can look at it afterwards and work out what you have done, but knowing that it is correct.

Also, just to be clear, the question is more about how to set up a left aligned headline and text that is centered in the header and is responsive when viewed on different devices.

Hello Paul,

The given password is incorrect.

Kindly double-check.

Sorry @ruenel… I’ve updated now.

Hello Paul,

We have created an example page for you with the same behavior as the example URL.

See the secure note.

Hope this helps.

Hi @ruenel, thank you for setting up that page for me… but (insert screaming and pulling of hair here) I copied all of your settings to my page, but my page is not working and doesn’t look like yours. I am just so frustrated with this. Why does it not look the same?

My page: https://staging2.rdw.co.nz/sectors/
Your page: https://staging2.rdw.co.nz/an-x-test/

I want to use Pro, I’m committed to it (I’ve brought the lifetime option), but it annoys me SO MUCH! Are there some basic training videos that I can look at? I feel like Im missing some information that would help me to understand how Pro works.

Hello Paul,

As I have mentioned earlier, there are two sections at play here. One section is only visible in smaller screens. The Sectors and Texts in the first section will also be hidden away in smaller screens. It is best that you save the first and second sections of the test page as a template so you can reuse it in your page. Morning @ruenel.

Thank you… I did see and get the 2 sections. I thing I’m struggling with is that I’m pretty sure that I set my setting the same as you, but my page looks different. The headline and text is pushing up into the logo at the top of the page.

Also, now that the page does not have a container, how do I align the icons with the section headlines i.e make the chair icon align with Office.

Thanks for the tip re: the Youtube tutorials.

Hello Paul,

Now that the page has no container, you will have to enable the Global Container option in your row settings so that the row width will have the maximum width which you have set globally in Pro > Theme Options > Layout and Design > Site Max Width.

Hope this helps.
