Can't edit text in sections or add elements

Hi there,

I’ve been working a few hours now in Theme X with the Cornerstone.
After saving and publishing to see the result I wanted to get back to editing.
Been stuck since. I see my layout and the different sections + rows.
And when I hover over te section titles (left side) the part get highlighted
But I’m not abled to edit the text anymore as before (double click text)
Any idea what’s happening and might be causing this?
I’ve already looked at this forum topic… but this didn’t help.

Cannot edit in Cornerstone

Hello, I am unable to edit in Cornerstone. When I create an new post, it wouldn’t create it with Cornerstone unless I enter the blog title in the Visual editor first. Once done, I press Edit in Cornerstone, it takes me there but wouldn’t allow to edit the blog title. If I try to edit the existing post created in wordpress Visual editor, it will not show the blog body text, only the headline which is uneditable. Please advise - I already wasted so much time trying to figure it out. Thanks

There could be a plugin or custom code that affect your website.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

1. TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
3. THEME UPDATE
4. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION

Only if none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.
