Hello everyone. The topic I’m bringing up relates to another one I had posted about months ago. You can find the original topic below. This issue has been ongoing for a while and I’m only now taken more action to address it. The issue has not changed from the previous topics but this time, I would like to provide additional details. On a site I’m working on, I updated Pro from 4.3.3 to the most latest version, 5.1.5. The issue relates to changes made to the following pages: /profile/edit…

I understand that Themeco cannot provide support for an unsupported third-plugin. As a result, I reached to the plugin author to try to get the problem addressed. They tried to find a solution and provided this response with the attached screenshot:

Unfortunately we couldn’t fix it from our end since theme doesn’t provide any filters or hooks to override the values assigned in their theme files. Please check the attached screenshot, we need to have a filter to override this value which can be provided only by the theme author. Could you please contact them again and explain the same to see if they are willing to help?

Apparently, this is what they need to override and hopefully they can take care of the rest. Any chance you guys can provide a solution on how to override this?

Hey @kgpthemex,

Developing filters for 3rd party integrations is already in our feature request list so you might be able to disable the integrations in the future.

For now, though it’s not recommended, you will need to modify the parent theme directly. You will need to hire a developer to do any theme customization through coding. If you need custom development guidance only, we can help you through our One premium support.
