Wordpress update & Cornerstone stopped working

Update my Wordpress to 6.2.1 and my version of Cornerstone plugin crashed the website. I’m a novice at this (had the website designed with this system and left to manage it myself).

Using filezilla i identified that by turning off Cornerstone plugin i could access the back office on Wordpress. Tried to update Cornerstone through the back office but each time it crashed the site.

So advice online was to reinstall the X theme Pro - pro.zip file. but now the ini.php file says the file is too big (at only 8.6MB) - so i followed steps to adjust this max file size in the php.ini file up to 64M - but still saying the pro.zip is too big.

What am i doing wrong - there are approx 40 pages to my website all there - but at the moment showing html code not pics. Please help - www.brightgreenhomes.co.uk

Hello @brightgreenhomes,

Thanks for writing to us.

It might be the issue of WordPress 6.2 update issue and PHP memory issue I would suggest you please have a look at this thread to learn more about how to get rid of it.

I recommend increasing the following server settings to the specified value or larger. Please consult your web host for all these server settings

PHP configuration recommended

memory_limit = 512M
upload_max_filesize = 512M
post_max_size = 512M
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 300

Hope it helps
Thanks
