WooCommerce Product Import

Hi there–we are trying to import some new products to our site. We have them on staging. we are using the WooCommerce import/export tool however, this process loses all of our Cornerstone Content that is on each product. We have about 150 products each of which will take over an hour to replicate unless we can import properly.

How can we run this import and maintain our Cornerstone design/content on the product page (the cornerstone data gets inserted into the standard text editor section as shortcodes).

Hello @speckledjay,

Thanks for writing to us.

You can migrate the whole site from the staging server to the live domain. Please have a look at this article to learn more about how to move the site from the staging server to the live domain.

You can also save it as a template and then import it. Please have a look at our doc.

Hope it helps
Thanks

I do not want to migrate the entire site–this is not an option.
I do not want to save each product as a template and then import individually–way too time consuming.

We need to only import these specific products–the woocommerce data AND their cornerstone data.

importing/managing cornerstone content has been a topic/issue for the past 5 years on this forum. how is there no solution/process for this?

Hi @speckledjay,

I would suggest the WordPress default way and use the Tools > Export option to export the Products and the Layouts as a XML file. And then Import those files through the Tools > Import, it will only import the products and layouts. You may need to remove the unwanted products and layouts.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
