Why can't we drag div elements?

Why are we not able to drag div elements within the builder window? We can only do so from the inspector panel.

Thanks for writing in! Please make sure to use the latest versions. You can check out our changelog here:

And if you are using the Classic Section, Classic Rows, and Classic Column, you may not be able to drag DIV elements. It is best to use the new Section, Row and Column elements.

I’m using the latest version of Pro. No classic elements anywhere on the page. When attempting to drag a Div element from one column to another, you cannot do so. It just ends up highlighting any text or whatever is inside the Div. I’ve experienced this on 2 different websites, so it is not an issue with this install.

Hello @threeoten,

Now, I see it. You cannot drag a Section, Row, Column, and Div element while you are in the builder. These are the container elements. You can drag the Headline into another column. The Div cannot be dragged to the next column in the builder. You can only do it using the Layout tab’s Skeleton mode instead.
