Hello @kevbha,

Thanks for writing to us.

It might be the issue of the WordPress 6.2 update issue. Please have look at this thread for the reference to get rid of it.

If it doesn’t work for you I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copy your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin-level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Thanks, the site is still down. I have seny you the secure note with login details. Thank you.

Hi @kevbha,

I have checked and found that the WordPress admin URL is still not accessible. I would suggest you delete the X from wp-content/themes through the FTP/CPaneland reinstall the X by downloading from your Themeco Account.
If you are finding any difficulties, please share the FTP/CPanel details to investigate it further.

Thanks

I have sent details of the host on the secure note. Is it possible for you to help with the delete and reinstall please? Thank you.

Hi @kevbha,

Unfortunately, the given credentials do not work for the Bluehost. I would suggest you check once and share it again for further assistance.

Thanks

Hi, my apologies, I have updated the p/w now in the secure note.

Hi @kevbha,

I am able to log in to your WordPress admin pages through the Bluehost, but unfortunately, it is not possible to access the Dashboard. Can you please check with the Hosting Service provider on this? Once you are able to access that, please remove the X theme and update the WordPress version and then follow the way suggested by my colleague.

Thanks

Hello, now you will be able to use the dashboard and WP login as normal. Please can you let me know what the critical issues are? Thank you.

Hello @kevbha,

Your site is now using the latest X theme (10.2.1) and the Cornerstone plugin (7.2.1). You can now proceed to update WordPress core to version 6.2. After doing the updates, always make sure that you clear all your plugin caches.

Best Regards.
