Unble to install cornerstone. Plugin already installed

Hi,

I just purchased X and am trying to download it to Wordpress. I got through the installation and activation of X and have gotten to the summary page which shows 'Automatic Updates", “Support” etc. I am now trying to download Cornerstone and am having the following issues:

At the top it says:
.must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/customer/www/neverellulmoment.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/class.utilities.php on line *857

Warning* : Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/customer/www/neverellulmoment.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/class.utilities.php:857) in /home/customer/www/neverellulmoment.com/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line *6221

Warning* : count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /home/customer/www/neverellulmoment.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/class.utilities.php on line *857

Then where it shows THEMECO it shows:
" You’re almost ready to start using X. Please click here to install and activate the required Cornerstone plugin.

When I click this it says:
Unable to install Cornerstone. Plugin already installed.

I have navigated to the plugins section and Cornerstone is not installed. I did go and install it previously so that may be the issue.

Do you know how to fix this?

Hello Mitchell,

Thanks for writing in! Please go to the plugins section, Dashboard > Plugins. Make sure that Cornerstone is not installed or active. You may need to deactivate and delete any plugin that bears the name Cornerstone. You may have installed a different plugin of the same name. And then go back to X > Validation, wait for a couple of seconds while Cornerstone were installed in the background.

Thanks or the reply, I tried that before starting the topic and it wasn’t working. I did install a different cornerstone so I believe that is why its happening, but even after I delete the plug in it gives the error.

I sent a secure note with the details asked.

Hello Mitchell,

I have logged in and it seems your issue has been resolved already. Cornerstone is installed and can now be access in X > Cornerstone.

When creating a new post, you might be wondering why there is no “Edit in Cornerstone”. Cornerstone is disabled for Posts. You may need to enable it first in X > Settings > Permissions > Administrator > General. To learn more about the Permissions, please check out this documentation:

Hope this helps.

Hi there,

Thanks for the help. It seems that I am still getting the error on my side. When I click < X I still see the following. It must be something wrong on my end?

On second glance I can see it is working but I still get that error on the screen even though I can use cornerstone. So I guess it is not too big of an issue now but I am not sure why it still shows that.

Hey Mitchell,
