Unable to use self-built homepage with WooCommerce

Hello,

I have recently started building my own webshop. I have built a homepage for my website before finishing the configuration of my WooCommerce plugin. Now that I have configurated the plugin, when I browse to my website I see a standardized WooCommerce webshop page instead of my own homepage. Even though my own homepage still exists and is accessible in the menu, the standard WooCommerce page pops up first. How do I get rid of this standard page?

Thanks for writing in!

The normal page you have designed will not work if you assign it as your shop index. Your shop index will always display using the built-in design for the theme. If you need to have a custom shop index, it is best that you upgrade to the Pro theme and utilize the Layout builder to design your shop index, blog index and other archive pages.
