Uh Oh! Failed to Save Error

Hi,

When trying to save any changes to any pages, I am receiving the Uh Oh! Failed to save error. I have cleared all caches, and I have increased the memory limit in the wp_config.php file already and it did not seem to help. The error message received in the console is below. Any assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

Hello @cbrslider,

Thanks for writing to us.

The JS console error you have mentioned, it might be the issue of cache or plugin conflict with the latest version of our theme. I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing For Plugin Conflict
  2. Child Theme
  3. Css/Js Customization
  4. Increasing Php Memory Limit
  5. Disabling Cache
  6. Disabling Cdn
  7. Permalinks

If none of those work, It would be best if you could copying your live website to your staging area. and send your details in a secure note so that we can investigate your setting without breaking your live site. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Today I also have run into this error after loading the most recent update to Pro. So far it has only affected one of my pages. I could save changes to all of the rest of the pages I was working on. Could not find any logic to why only one page provided the error. I also shut down all the plugins and cleared all caches both at my website as well as using cpanel at the hosting service.

Hello @kkc3388,

Thanks for writing to us.

It would best if you could open a new thread where you can give us details about your issue with your credentials. It will be better if you could copy your live site to a staging server and send us your login details in the secure note so that we can investigate your settings without breaking your live site.

Please check the article in the above post to learn more how to copy live site to staging site.

Thanks
