Tutorial on how to create Header from scratch

Can anyone direct me to any tutorials on how to create a header using the header builder using X-Pro?

I have found tutorials on Youtube (Link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWPh_GoP7hYUINAmM_xyfBe1_WqLUo6U2)

But it jumps straight into a tutorial showing a ready-made header.

And I could only find this in the docs section of X-theme:

If anyone knows of a good tutorial showing a header made from start to finish would be most appreciated.

Coming back to using X-Pro after a long time away and struggling since the interface has changed a lot seems a lot more complex now.

Many thanks

Ashley

Hello Ashley,

To create a custom Header through the Header builder I would suggest you please follow these steps

  1. Go to WordPress Dashboard —>Cornerstone—>Header Builder.

Widgets-‹-TEST-—-WordPress (1)
2. Click on the Plus Icon
Pro (3)

3 Add a Header title and then click on the “Create Header” button.
Pro (4)

  1. You would get three Options here.

a) From Scratch, You can create your custom header from the scratch by using Header builder elements

b) Use Template, you can click on the Use Template for preset Stater templates.

Design Cloud, you would get an option for the design cloud as well to import prebuilt custom header from the design cloud.

My Template, in case you have created a header through the header builder and kept it as a template you may import that custom Header from here through the Template manager.

  1. Clone Existing, in case you have an existing custom header on your server you may copy that header from here.

  1. Now you need to assign the custom header for that you need to click on the Settings Icon—>Condition. Please have a look at the given screenshot below.

Please have a look at our doc to learn more about how to assign the header

Hope it helps
Thanks

Thank You Prakash for taking time to reply, I am looking through design cloud to get ideas and see how headers work.
