Tabs in mobile version

Hello,

I read many topics about the mobile version of the tabs here. Like this one - Tabs element - mobile stacking of tabs.

But I cannot find was it finally improved or not? If not can it be so, that I use element “Tabs” for desktop and “classic tabs” for the mobile version? Or I can get somehow the same view in another way? I mean that on the desktop it will look like “tabs” on desktop and on mobile like “classic tabs”.

Please let me know.

Best regards,

Hello, @DamiraT! Thanks for writing in…the v2 version of the Tabs Element is fully responsive, just in a different way than the v1 version. With v1, users could set the tabs to the side or the top of the Element, but the problem with this was that if users placed two Tabs Elements in multiple columns side by side, they had no control over when those side tabs went to the top for the mobile version of the site, which could create all sorts of other responsive issues. The v2 version of Tabs follows a more modern approach. The tabs are always top-aligned, and as the viewport gets smaller, the tabs will simply overflow in their container, and they are scrollable horizontally for mobile users to get to anything they need. This is a much cleaner approach that does not require as much setup or maintenance as the old way, and we recommend sticking with v2 Tabs.

That being said, if you wish to display different content on a desktop device vs a mobile device, yes, you can absolutely do this. Please review the following article from our Docs to learn more about this:

Cheers!
