Tabs element - mobile stacking of tabs

For the new Tabs element, when the screen size approaches mobile devices, is there a way to configure the element to have the individual tabs stack verticle instead of having them stay horizontal and flow offscreen?

This is for the Tabs elements on Pro 2.2.5

Hi @wbgTHEMECO,

Thanks for reaching out.

I added this as a feature request as I think, it should be the same as the classic tab. For now, please use the classic tab element and it will stack on smaller screen.

Thanks!

So glad this item was posted. This morning my email box was flooded with complaints about this. I reverted back to the classic tabs, but any idea about when this bug will be fixed? Thank you thank you thank you to wbg!

Hi @Pritchard

At the moment, I don’t know when it will get fixed, our dev team is working hard to set the priorities to fix bugs and introduce new features according to the roadmap.

After every update, make sure to check the changelog page to see if this feature was included in that update or not.

Thanks.

We too, are anxious to see this remedied for mobile, just as the classic element ‘stacks’ in mobile. Wonder why this new tabs element was released without being fully mobile-responsive? Great flexibility to this new ‘tabs’ element, but with it bleeding off/chopping off content, it’s currently useless for most users… as mobile-first is how we all design now!

Updates on this appreciated! We’ll watch changelog…

Hello @bradmaclean,

I can’t assure you that it will be part of next release as I am not in the position to give you that assurance. Rest assured we have taken you vote and our developers are looking into the same.

Thanks.
