Switched theme to Pro

I’ve just switched my former theme to Pro and don’t really know how to edit the layout of the posts.

• Layouts section (pro/launch/layouts) is empty.

• The template manager is also empty (pro/template-manager).

In the theme options I’ve chosen a “fullwidth” boxed content layout:

It works fine, but I need to add a sidebar to the posts and don’t see how to do with Pro, as it seems that I should try to do everything from scratch. I’ve tried with WP:

but the post page doesn’t change at all.

Would you give me some orientation?

Thanks a lot! I didn’t know where to start and now it’s beginning to make sense. I’ve created and assigned a layout to the post entries.

Surely there’s something I’m doing the wrong way but I don’t find it. In spite of following the directions provided, the widget is not displaying on the sidebar (I’ve tried with several widgets).

Where should I explore to find the reason why widgets are not displaying? Thanks again!

Hi Fernando,

You need to select the specific Widget Area from the Setup of the Widget Area element. Please find the screenshot describing the setting and video describing how to set the Widget Area.

I’ve managed to solve the problem without the widget area, but simply using the post-list content featured by the Pro theme. I must admit that it takes time to learn but it’s worth the effort! The theme is amazing.
