SuperFly not displaying on mobile

SuperFly not displaying on mobile and I have set to show on mobile: https://www.morepars.com/a-test-for-rick-view-2/

I find Uber more stable. Is there a way to add hamburger menu globally (not just mobile) in X (not Pro)?

Question 2: How disruptive to site is switching toe Pro from X? We have quite a bit of custom code in the child theme.

Thanks for help
Christina

Hi Christina,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

  • Go to the Superfly Menu settings and make sure Test mode during setup is turned off

Under General display rules, the Show on mobiles option is set to Show (see screenshot)

Also make sure to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

  • Converting to Pro from X should not cause any issue, custom code that is added to your child theme should still work, the header and footer builder that come with Pro introduces new CSS classes and markup, which may affect your customization. You can learn everything about the conversion here https://theme.co/docs/converting-from-x-to-pro

Hope this helps!

Thank you - yes that is one of the first things that I checked. Nothing seems to be making it appear. Not sure what to do. Can you see it on your mobile?

Thank you for the Pro vs X insight.

Hi Christina,

It looks like you’re using a Blank - No Container | No Header, Footer page template on this page that is why it does not have the header.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Hi - I tried both ways - with and without header and still no view on mobile or iPad. It shows fine on desktop. How do you shut off theme menu once I go live?

Is there another way to get the hamburger type menu across all devices including desktop not using SuperFly?

Christina

Hello Christina,

I am not seeing the SuperFly element on the page. Maybe it has been disabled on this page. To better assist you with your issue, kindly provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WordPress Admin username / password

To know how to create a secure note, please check this out: https://theme.co/docs/getting-support

Thank you in advance.

Hey Christina,

Thanks for providing the login details. I checked your Superfly setup and it’s not limited to display on certain pages only so it looks like all of your settings are correct.

I believe that you are already familiar with the basic troubleshooting procedures. I’ve read the whole thread and I didn’t see details if you have tested for a plugin conflict and if the issue is coming from your child theme.

I’m afraid to switch to the parent theme in your site and deactivate plugins as it is a live site and it doing so will interrupt your live site’s operation. With that said, please first switch to the parent theme and check if the issue persists. If it’s fixed, a custom code in your child theme is likely causing the issue, in which case, you should consult with a developer to fix the customization.

If the issue persists after switching to the parent theme, it’s likely a third-party plugin is causing an issue. Please deactivate all plugins except Cornerstone and Superfly and reactivate them one by one while checking if the issue persists each time. Just in case you need some guidance on performing a plugin conflict test, you can watch the tutorial below.

If the issue persists after switching to the parent theme and deactivating plugins, it would be best to copy your site to a staging server so we could perform the basic troubleshooting steps again to double-check and we can do deeper troubleshooting after that without the risk of breaking your live site. If you can’t do the staging site, please allow us to do the troubleshooting steps that I’ve mentioned once again and perform deeper troubleshooting after. Just note that it will disrupt the operation of your live site.

Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to look at the site. I greatly appreciate it. We will test on the staging site for a plugin conflict.

Hey @Christina,

Yes sure, do let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

We set to EVERYONE and it appeared. I had the page disabled. Unfortunately, there is no way to close menu from mobile? Do you have any ideas? Link to page with menu: https://www.morepars.com/a-test-for-rick-view-2/
On iPad either - there should be an X button to close it.

UPDATE: we resolved.

Thanks again for help.
Christina
