Sign up form using a modal

Hello there,

We would like to be able to offer a modal signup form - would you recommend using X Modal with WP Forms? We are happy to use MailChimp if that is more suitable.

I would appreciate your advice :-}

Thanks for reaching out.
Not sure what type of Sign Up form you are trying to build. If that is the User Signup form, the WP Form or Mailchimp both will not work.
I would suggest you use any of the free User Registration plugins available in the WordPress repository and add the shortcode into the Modal.



Please remember that we don’t support any issues related to the 3rd Party plugins.

Thanks for getting back. We would like to use a very standard MailChimp signup form, but require the user to sign up before they can download a file. For example, please see the right side of the attached image.

We have access to WP Forms with Pro, which has a signup extension, but I am not sure about the modal aspect of it but will investigate.

In case if you want to use the WP Forms plugin, please have a look at our doc to learn more about how to use the WP Forms with our theme.


To set up the form in the Modal you can use our Modal element
