Separate pages for different items in Shop

I have three separate pages for my woocomerce shop one for each category I have, however on each page I can’t seem to filter out the other products I don’t want it picks them all when I use the woocommercce product element? I want something like in the picture how do I filter out the other cats?

I can’t seen to figure this out with cornerstone.
Thanks

Hello @Sean_Wright,

Thanks for writing to us.

In case you have created a page for each product category then to display the product of a specific category I would suggest please use the Looper, you need to set the Looper provider as a Query builder and then set the post type as product and set the category from the taxonomy select box. Please have a look at this video to learn more about how to display the specific category products.

Or you may create a custom archive layout for the product category where you don’t need to use Looper provider, you need to use Looper consumer only since the default loop would be working on the archive page. It would pull the product based on the category archive page. I would suggest you please have a look at this doc to learn more about how to create a product category archive page.

You need to assign the layout as well please have a look at this doc to learn more about how to assign the layout.

Hope it helps
Thanks

Thanks for the reply I think I have managed this I am finding this a really steep learning curve are there any course out there to take as your short videos sometimes are nor enough I need something more comprehensive?

Hello Sean,

Are you referring to the products displayed in the “Present It”, “Wear It” and “Use It” pages? if that is the case, you will have Looper Provider Query Builder and you select “product” for the post type and MUST use include to select the category of the product items to display on the page.

Hope this makes sense.

Yes it does I think I got this sorted now. Thanks

Glad to hear that, Sean.
