Removing unused CSS

Hi guys,

I have been using theme x for years on all my sites and it’s amazing! However, over the years, I have added custom CSS (using code you guys provided from your support forum). However over time a lot of this code has become obsolete. It is currently sitting on my website but not really doing anything.

This has happened as your website builder has improved in its features. My question now is how can I identify which pieces of code are not doing anything and which pieces can be safely removed. Unfortunately I am not at coder and don’t have The knowledge or skills to be able to identify and remove. Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated. Have a great day and thanks for reading. PS I will attach a secure note

Hey @jamie2364,

You will need to look for 3rd party services like this that can detect unused CSS per page. Once you’ve identified the codes, you look for them in Code Editors then delete them.

If you can’t do this yourself, you might want to have our Elite team do the work for you. You can reach them out here https://theme.co/elite

Hope that helps.
