Randomized content - Is the source crawlable?

Hi,

I have a question regarding creating randomized looper providers, which is elaborated in this thread:

I am wondering if search engines can crawl the source file (say an ACF repeater) that creates the random content. The reason that I am asking is, if they can, this approach can have negative impacts on the spam spore of the page.

My guess is they cannot crawl, but just want to ask before making a mistake.

Thanks

Gunes

Hello Gunes,

Only the page source code is crawlable. The Looper Provider that provides the content items is not crawlable. If you use caching, the cache page is the one saved by the bots.

Cheers.

Thank you, RueNel.

You are most welcome, Gunes.
