Point at which main menu switches to mobile menu

Hello !

I’m trying to adjust the point at which my main menu on a desktop switches to the mobile menu (hamburger thing) . On my site dev.studio-ubik.com this happens way too early, I’d like the text to go as far as possible and switch to the mobile menu only when the first menu item (the word “services”) is about to touch the logo on the left. Where is that option ? I tried to play around with a number of “break point” settings in cornerstone’s theme options, but that didn’t do much (I’m a little confused about those settings actually).

Thanks in advance

Hi Jerome,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website on my Android mobile device and it seems working perfectly fine. The problem you are having is not very clear, I would suggest you please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.

Thanks

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. The mobile version works fine. The desktop version too. My problem is easy to see if you are on a desktop and you resize the browser window down, you will see that the menu switches to the mobile menu at one point, which is way too early for my liking. I’d like the menu to remain a desktop menu until the menu is about to “touch” the logo. Where is the setting for that in cornerstone? Hope this is clearer. Thanks.

Hi Jerome,

Now we understand what you are trying to point but unfortunately, your site is not loading anymore at our end for checking. But remember that you are using the X theme and the Breakpoint is set for the Hamburger menu and that you can’t change.

But if you still want to show the menu till the breakpoint you want, you need to customize the Header which is exclusively available with Pro not with the X you are using. I would suggest you upgrade to the Pro theme, please go through the process here: https://theme.co/docs/converting-from-x-to-pro
And also go through the following article on Header Builder.

And then you can add the following Navigation element for the desktop:

  1. Navigation Inline

And then you can add the following Navigation elements for smaller screen:

  1. Navigation Dropdown
  2. Navigation Modal
  3. Navigation Off Canvas

And adjust the Navigation by using the Customize > Hide During Breakpoint option to show/hide in the specific screen size.

Hope it helps.
Thanks
