Override WooCommerce template

Hello,

how to override the WooCommerce template? I saw there was a fix for the theme and the child theme should override the template following structure from WooCommerce docs.

When I put form-login.php in /themes/pro-child/woocommerce/my-acoount/ to add placeholders in input fields, there is no change and even in WooCommerce status there is no detected override.

Best regards,

Ofir

Hi @ofirdoo,

Thanks for reaching out.
What you are trying to achieve is required custom development, which is beyond the scope of our Theme Support. I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you in doing the customization or, you can avail of our newly launched service called One TOTAL CARE, where we offer small customizations
Alternatively, you can create the WooCommerce layouts using the Layout Builder and assign it to the WooCommerce pages like MyAccount. I would suggest you go through the following article, which may help you with this.

Thanks

Hello,

I don’t understand why this would require custom development when I need to override the WooCommerce template inside Pro child theme?

I’m already using [woocommerce_my_account] shortcode inside the Cornerstone for WooCommerce single.

Best regards

Hi @ofirdoo,

Here, the WooCommerce template needs to be overridden. Modifying any core files is part of custom development. I suggest you consider the Layout Builder, which might be another option for you.

Thanks

Hello again,

you can close this topic. It seems structure isn’t always as in documents. I didn’t saw path inside file. Now it works.

Thanks for letting us know Ofir.
