Nothing in section background advanced mode works

When enabling the ‘Advanced’ mode Background of a section, neither the Background Lower Layer or Background Upper Layer elements work. E.g. when selecting Type / Color and changing the color, nothing shows. Similarly, no background image shows (see snap below, where a background image is applied but nothing shows on the page)

Strangely, some background images do work currently on the page, but when I try to change them, even selecting the same image from the media viewer, then nothing shows.

Buttons are also not working properly: the text is hidden and the button sizing doesn’t seem to work.

If I change the theme from Renew to something else, the background images appear to work, and buttons too.

This is very annoying. Please help. Thanks

For full implementation of the section’s background option, make sure that you are using the Blank - No Container | Header, Footer page template. For more details about the different page templates in the theme, please check this out:

If nothing is helping, provide us access to your site so that we can check your background settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
- Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site
