Hi, I updated to the new version and I can’t seem to get into the theme to customize my website. In addition many pages are showing blank. my website is themegamural.com
Hi Gitty,
Thanks for reaching out.
There might be some different reasons behind your issue, I would like to suggest troubleshoot the following common issue to help us to recognize the reason.
1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.Child Theme Related issue
4.CSS/JS Customization
5.Disabling Cache
6.Disabling CDN
If you discover that an issue is coming from a custom code or 3rd party plugin, kindly consult with a developer or contact the plugin author. Please note that we do not provide support for custom codes and 3rd party plugins.
If none of the above helps, please reshare the login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
NOTE: I have found a number of JavaScript errors showing at the console. I would suggest you check once by deactivating the ConvertPlus plugin if that resolves your issue.
Thanks
I troubleshooted all of the above. Everything was working before the update. I added my login credentials as a secure note. Please help asap
I just restored a backup through siteground. and now I’m getting fatal errors: Fatal error : Cannot declare class Cornerstone_Shortcode_Preserver, because the name is already in use in /home/customer/www/themegamural.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/pro/cornerstone/includes/classes/classic/utility/class-shortcode-preserver.php on line 8
I need you to look into this ASAP!
I can’t even log into my website account to do anything! this is a serious issue!
Hi Gitty,
It seems that the issue is described in the following thread along with the solution, I would suggest you go through and check if that resolves your issue.
Thanks
Hi @Mega_Mural,
I wanted to add a few comments here below.
-
As Tristup points out, the original issue you’re reporting should be corrected by Cornerstone 6.0.2
-
The fatal PHP error you’re seeing is probably because something went wrong during the restore process. That file mentioned only exists once in the Cornerstone plugin, but we did move it to another folder with this release. If you have two copies of the file like the error suggests, then the Cornerstone folder is corrupted and doesn’t accurately represent either the current or previous version. Please fully delete Cornerstone and reinstall from the WordPress dashboard.

If you’re having the issue from the other thread we were talking on where the Inspector or Theme Options fail to load, I would recommend disabling
WP_DEBUG
to see if that makes a difference until the next release is available.
I did all of the above, I can log into my website now but It’s still not loading the theme options even after disabling the wp_debug. In addition all my classic elements are not showing up even with the previous version installed now.
Ok thanks for the update. Please wait until the next point release goes out this afternoon and let us know if there are remaining issues.
