When I put in my validation code, it says “Congratulations! Your site in now validated.” but right after the browser refreshes, it keeps asking to put it in again and says it’s not validated.

It might be the issue of any plugin conflict, cache issue, or any browser extension which stops validating the site. I would suggest you troubleshoot with our troubleshooting guide.
