Hi. I have recently downloaded X Theme and am having multiple issues with the theme. I am NOT wordpress proficient but I do have a general understanding of creating blog posts, pages, categories etc. but X Theme is making no sense.
There are no tutorials online that provide a step-by-step explain how to set up the x theme and what I am struggling is with:
- how to format pages/categories to have layout structure and then posts can be added to these pages. I pretty much want a blank page/category in which I can add posts which will show in a structured format.
- how to format pages/categories to show blog posts in a clean and formatted manner
- how to get posts to specific pages/categories without text running off the screen (as seen in image below)
- how to delete category heading/page heading from page (as seen in the giant category archive in image below)
- how to alternate text size and colour. I have formatted texts on and no button to change size has popped up.
I feel that the demo theme was deleted or something and I no longer have any structure to the pages/posts even when I add or delete the sidebar. As pages don’t work in wordpress menus to add multiple posts, you must use categories and I don’t know how to format that when the theme itself is broken.
Any assistance would be helpful.
