Mobile Nav bar not showing

I have a header with 2 nav bars. One for desktop/larger screens and one for mobile. The mobile bar is not showing. I feel I’m missing something really small but can’t see it. If you could take a look I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi @jayvly,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website on desktop and mobile and found that the Navigation Bar is set to Initially Hidden. But it is visible after a scroll, if that is not the case please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.

Thanks

Hi. I have turned off the “hide initially” and renamed the bars to make it easier. The “mobile nav” bar is still not showing. It shows on the back end but not the front end.

Hey @jayvly,

I only see 1 Bar in your site: https://dogwoodretreat.ca/5381155E/. If you have another Bar, it could be that you’ve set a Condition and the condition is not met that is why the builder won’t output the Bar. Please ensure you don’t have any conditions set in the bar. You can learn more about the Conditions feature here: https://theme.co/docs/conditions-and-assignments

If you don’t have another Bar, I believe you mean your mobile navigation using the Navigation Off Canvas. If that is the case, the Navigation Off Canvas (mobile nav) is just pushed away by the Navigation Inline (desktop nav).

What you need to do is hide the desktop nav on mobile using the Hide During Breakpoints feature. You can learn about that here: https://theme.co/docs/hide-or-show-content-by-device-size

The screenshot below shows that if you hide the desktop nav, the mobile nav shows up.

If none of that helps, provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing in the builder and a screenshot of your mobile nav. Then, provide the following info in a Secure Note

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Okay I have to apologize as this is completely user error! I have a header for the front page and then a bar for the rest of the site. Sorry for wasting your time!

Hi @jayvly,

Good to know that you are able to find the reason.

Thanks
