Since the update none of my new posts are showing meta description. I have cleared my cache and do have Meta description of 30 words enabled on the theme customizations. My previous posts still contain meta description.
How can this be fixed? Thank you!

I am having issues with the exact page https://astersbookhour.com/category/book-reviews/, https://astersbookhour.com/category/book-blogging/, and https://astersbookhour.com/category/lists/. I have tested adding a new post to these categories and still no meta description shows for new posts.

Thanks for sharing the credentials, I went ahead and checked your dashboard. I went to one of your posts it seems that you have not added any text in the manual excerpt box.
You need to add your text to the “Manual Excerpt”, for that you need to go to your post -->“Edit with Cornerstone” -->click on the setting icon—>Manual Excerpt.

No, that does not help.
I know what a manual excerpt is. I want automatic excerpts to work again.
The previous posts descriptions have been pulled from the post itself via the first 50 words demonstrating that automatic excerpts used to work but no longer do.
New posts are not automatically pulling the first 55 words to create this excerpt, I would like that to be fixed.

I have investigated this issue and after further testing, I can confirm that this is an issue in the latest release. Any new post created in Cornerstone or with the Pro Editor will no longer display any excerpt. I have informed already our developers and they are already working on a resolution to this issue. A patch release update will be rolling out anytime soon.
