Mega menu using slider - activate on hover

Hi there, I was looking to create a mega menu type drop down for my site, without having to use ubermenu. I came across a solution in this topic:

The Themeco staff member suggested it could be done using a drop down, inline navigation, and a slider element.

This seems like a solid solution, however the issue I’m now running up against, is that the slider is triggered by clicking the inline navigation links, not hovering over them (unlike say the https://junipereducation.org/ example in that topic which works via hover).

How can I get the slider to trigger on hover? Thanks!

The Dropdown element has a hover trigger. Please see the doc here https://theme.co/docs/dropdown

Thanks for the reply Christian. I have that part working, the issue is getting the links from the Navigation Inline element to trigger on hover. I assume it’s possible as your colleague suggested it in the post I linked above.

If you want to use hover to trigger the clicks, a custom javascript is needed. These articles can help you:
