Image carousel slider for text slides

Hi,

I am trying to use your image carousel slider to display text on about 100 slides.

  1. Is there a way to setup the slide properly that will make it auto adjust text formating for various text lenghts? Or does each indivudual slide need to be manually adjusted?!

  2. Its seems that I will need to create 2 versions of this slider, 1 for large screens and 1 for tablet/mobile screens. Is there a way to duplicate the slider and then shrink all sizes by 50%?

Hello @Torah541,

Thanks for writing in! You can use the Looper Provider/Consumer feature in creating your slider. The Slider Container will be the Looper Provider and then the slide element will be the Looper Consumer. You can set to display 100 slides dynamically with this setup. You will have to format only 1 slide and it will be applied to the rest of the slider. Ply around with the settings of the slider so that you will only create one slider for desktops and smaller screens.

If you are not familiar with the Slider element yet, please check out this documentation first:

Best Regards.

Thanks. I would love to do that. Where would I enter the 100 diffent texts? Is the looper provider/consumer capped at 100 slides?

Hello @Torah541,

You can use the Looper Provider JSON where you can insert 100 different texts. You might want to view this video tutorial here at time stamp 18:36.

The Looper Provider do not have any cap limit. Just be wise in using this limit because it will surely slow down your page.

Best Regards.

It would be disadvantagous to create a single slider for both mobiles and desktops. If we create 2 sliders, is there a way to hide the desktop slider on mobiles and hide the mobile slider on desktops?

Hi @Torah541,

You can create two different slider for Desktop and Mobile and hide using the Hide Durint the Breakpoints under the Customize tab as shown in the given screenshot.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Thanks. Last question here. How would I move my test slider to another page?

Hello @Torah541,

You can save the whole section as a block template and then you can insert the template when you create a new page. If you are not familiar with the template manager, please check out this documentation first:

Best Regards.

Thanks! :+1: :+1:

You are most welcome @Torah541.
