How to get rid of Pro

Hello.

I had regular X and Cornerstone years ago and now I’m back. For just $19 more I got Pro and am in way over my head. It looks too difficult for me. I would prefer the old X with Cornerstone, How can I get rid of Pro but keep the rest?

Hope this is possible. Just want my “old” X and CS (newest version of course :slight_smile: back

Thanks for reaching out!

There’s no option to convert back your Pro to X. X and Pro have the same code base but they only differ with advanced features like Header Builder, Page Builder, Footer Builder, Layout Builder, and Grid Editor. With that said, what you experience right now in using Pro, you will have the same experience when using X. I recommend that you stick to Pro to have access to the advanced features.

So, purely technically, if I don’t get the hack of Pro, I could deactivate the current Pro theme and license, keep it for a project when I am ready and buy a 2 “basic” X license with cornerstone and assign that to my current domain.

Correct?

Hi Roman,

You can do that too. But the Pro and the X are the same except that the Pro have a few Advanced Features that are mentioned by my colleague.

Most importantly the Cornerstone page builder is an integrated part of Pro which is called Content Builder and works as it same. Please let us know if you are having any specific problem with Pro, we are here to help you with that.
