Homepage listed twice in breadcrumb schema

Hello,

regardless of what page i’m on,

the breadcrumb path & schema lists my homepage URL as step 1 and step 2 before the post/category page as step 3

This has started happening from upgrading to Pro from X theme

Hi Jack,

Unfortunately, the given credentials are not working. Can you please check and send it once again.

Thanks

Should be working now thanks

Hello Jack

It happens if you set the Latest Post as your Home Page from the Settings > Reading > Home Page Display. Once you set a Static Page as Home and Blog page, the Step 1 link will be the Home Page link, and the Step 2 will be the Blog Page link.

Thanks

Yes,

But this is no good seeing as I had my site set up as ‘blog page is home page’ on X theme … before switching to pro.

Is there any way I can capture the page-template view (as is in the example URL) upload it as a page template via FTP then assign it to the page?

Hey Jack,

Since you have your site set up as “blog page is home page”, if you want to customize your blog index (your current homepage), simply go to Cornerstone > Layout Builder and use this to create a custom archive layout. You can design the blog index the way you want it. And then, you can assign the layout to your front page or blog index. If you are not familiar with the Layout builder yet, it is highly recommended that you check out these tutorials first:

Hope this helps.
