Hi, after a recent update - one of my search pages is now broken

One of my search pages has is contents replaced w/ many instances of isotope-item articles.

I did some plugin/theme testing and this is not an issue on twenty twenty one theme.

Please advise

Hi @BelievePursue,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website and found the default Search page is working fine and showing the proper search result. I would suggest you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Updated the secure note - the url in the secure note is where this is taking place - the page is intended to return “business listing” post types via geodirectory

Hi @BelievePursue,

I have checked your website and found the issue is related to a 3rd Party plugin named GeoDirectory and GeoDirectory Advanced Search Filters. I would suggest you contact the Plugin Author on this.
Please remember that we don’t provide any support on 3rd Party plugins or related issues.

Thanks

Hi, i reached out to the plugin developer and they provided the following response -

this issue is related to the pro theme.

even though the search page is not loading a builder page layout but still it not loading the content from the GD search page.

It seems like it loading the search page content from a predefined template either in Pro theme or from Cornerstone .

I am not well familiar with this Cornerstone functionality so exploring it. I will update you back on it.

meanwhile, if you can write to the pro theme and let them to disable the predefined template loading on the search page.
it will be quick too.

Hey @BelievePursue,

You are using this code in the SUP Directory page:

[gd_map width="100%" height="550px" maptype="ROADMAP" zoom="2" map_type="auto" post_settings="1" marker_cluster="1"]

[gd_loop_actions]
[gd_loop layout=4 post_limit="50"]
[gd_loop_paging]

The plugin takes in a normal page as a template but then loads nothing or an empty loop when the Archive style in Cornerstone > Theme Options > Blog > Archives is set to “Masonry”. I have tested the site using the Twenty Twenty Theme and it does not display anything as well.

We are not experts in this plugin and we do not know what is the expected display on the page. Since you are using the Pro Theme, please go to Cornerstone > Layout Builder and create a new Archive layout. You can then assign this layout as your Search Results page and design it the way you want to display the post items if ever the code will display anything. If you are not familiar with the layout builder yet, please do check out this documentation:
