Thanks for reaching out.
It is not very clear what you are trying to do here. Do you want to show the posts that have the Artifacts categories? If that is the case, you can use the Posts element and set the categories to show or else you can create an Archive Layout using the Layout Builder and assign it to the Artifacts category.
I would suggest you go through the following article and the videos on the Layout Builder.

Should be restricted to artifacts, not search the whole site.
That’s meaning if I am in the page Artifacts, I don’t want the search to be glabaly , only in Artifact articales
