Header links not formatting and can't edit position in cornerstone

Hi there,

The Header section in Cornerstone doesn’t seem to be working at all. I can add images and sections but cannot seem to use templates. The inline nav seems to not be styling anything.

Can you help, seems there is a setup error somewhere but I have built sites before using Pro.

Thanks for writing to us.

We have visited both the site listed in your user dashboard and found that both the site is running with an older version of the theme and Cornerstone.
The current Pro version is 3.2.3 whereas your sites having 3.1.2 and 2.5.5 and Cornerstone is now in 4.2.3 version whereas in your site it is 4.1.2 and 3.5.4.

Please update the Pro and Cornerstone and check once.

If none of the above helps. Please provide the details of your site in a secure note, including:

– Link to your WordPress site

Thanks for the credentials, it seems your Cornerstone was not properly installed. Everything works fine after I re-install the Cornerstone.

Thank you for that fix but I am still unable to edit headers and footers in corner-stone.

Sorry for the confusion, but you can not edit header and footer in Cornerstone. Header and Footer builder is only available to PRO theme (not X).

If you need Header and Footer builder you need to upgrade to PRO.

It seems you have installed the Pro but not yet activated. Please activate it to get the all options of Pro.

Design Cloud include professionally designed, ready-to-use templates. So you can easily install any of the available demos.

I am still having issues with importing the demo content, I have been trying the design cloud and am wanting to install the integrity theme.

I get the error below.

Thanks for writing to us.
I recommend the following troubleshooting about your demo import.

1.) Increase PHP Memory Limit
2.) Increase PHP Execution Time Limit

I recommend increasing the following server settings to the specified value or larger. Please consult to your web host for all these server settings

PHP configuration recommended

memory_limit = 512M
upload_max_filesize = 512M
post_max_size = 512M
max_execution_time = 300
max_input_time = 300

Recommended MySQL configuration

max_allowed_packet = 16Mb
innodb_log_file_size = 128mb

Please ask your web host to enable allow_url_fope n. The value must be On in order for your server to receive data from our server.

After all the server settings configured properly please follow these steps.

  1. Temporarily disable ConvertPlus while importing the demo content.
  2. After the import is done then activate it again

All of these settings have been applied apart from the innodb_log_file_size. And as a Log file id expect it shouldn’t cause an error?

All other settings have been applied including the allow_url_open, which is what I guess you are referring to.
Be really good to have this sorted and understand where the issue is.

Is it possible to have access to the demo folder without a need to use the cloud as it is not working for me?

Hi @Tylernz1,

I see you renamed the pro folder to pro-4, please rename that back to just pro. You need to keep that pro folder name so the built-in Cornerstone inside it will detect that you’re indeed using Pro theme.

After you rename that back to pro, please navigate to Appearance > Themes and activate it again.

Then navigate to Pro > Validation and re-validate it.

Only then you can navigate to Pro > DesignCloud to import demo/templates.
