Formatting header X theme

Hi there,

Trying to update our website and we are looking to implement the ideas marked in red on the picture provided. Namely add dispatch time frame and money back guarantee links underneath the main menu. Then underneath that we would like to add a topical message that applies to the hear and now i.e 1st order 10% off or we are working normally during covid 19. is there a way to implement this in X or if we moved over to X pro?
We want this in the header as we want the messages to be site wide.

Our website is www.ijconline.co.uk

X Theme Integrity

Any help gratefuly received.

Many thanks as always.

Ian

Hey Ian,

If you’re wanting to add that per page, I’d recommend building that using a Global Block and adding that to each of your Cornerstone built page.

If you’re wanting to add the sitewide or globally, that’s no possible with X. You must upgrade to our Pro theme and use the Pro Header Builder.

Once you’ve updated to Pro, please check out more details from the links below.

Hope that helps and thank you for understanding.

Hi Christian and thank you for the update, I believe to update to Pro is free, is that correct? Also if I update to pro , I know I cannot go back but what is the likely hood of it breaking the site? I have a fair amount of advertising attached to it. So I need to do it knowing what might happen.

Will go an look at the recommended details now.

Many thanks again.

Best regards

Ian

Hi Ian,

No, converting from X to PRO is not free, there is a certain amount to be paid for upgrading X license to PRO. Please see more details on the following link.

Converting from X to Pro

No, it should not break the site when switching from X theme to PRO theme, unless you did heavily customize the theme’s template (PHP) files either via a child theme or parent theme.

I advise that you clone your site on a Staging server, then do your conversion there first to see if it does break the site and fix if it is.
