Hello, I’ve been having trouble editing the footer area using Cornerstone in X them because it won’t load. This is a sequel to the previous thread which expired, where I was advised to update my PHP to the latest version. I did that and Cornerstone still won’t load 
I keep getting the spinning circle

Thanks for updating in! Please be advised that the footer area can only be edited with the Footer Builder if you are using Pro theme. Since you are using X theme and with Cornerstone, the footer is limited to the options which can be found in X > Theme Options > Footer.
Meanwhile, the loading Cornerstone or Theme Option’s screen might be because you have exhausted your PHP memory limit. Based from your previous closed thread, you have a PHP memory limit of 256MB and this should be enough. To better assist you with your issue, kindly provide us access to your site so that we can check your settings. Please create a secure note with the following info:

Yes, theme options editing will be sufficient for the footer. I’ll submit my login credentials via secure note, thank you!
Hello Anna,
I have logged in to your site. I was able to load the X > Theme Options and then edit a page in Cornerstone with no issues. Please see the url in the secure note.
One thing is missing in the Cornerstone element panel though, you will not be seeing some of style options. You need to turn on the Advanced Mode by going to the Settings > Preferences > Advanced Mode to make sure that the element options are visible.

I still keep getting the eternal spinning wheel every time I try to go to Cornerstone Which ‘Settings’ are you referring to?
The only thing I need to change in the footer is the year from 2018 to 2020.
Perhaps in the meantime you can just make that change for me?

Hey Anna,
I have edited most of your pages in Cornerstone and it loads just fine. Can you please point us which page you are trying to edit where you have encountered the issue? If you are wondering how you can edit the footer, you cannot edit it. You can only teak the footer in X > Theme Options > Footer settings. I also noticed that you have installed Video Background plugin which displays the background video way past your footer area.
If you are more interested in having control over all aspects of the footer I suggest that you consider the Pro theme which has a Footer builder and you can use various elements to create a footer.
Kindly check the Elements section of our documentation to learn more on which elements you can use on Pro Header/Footer builders.

Hi,
Well, I was able to edit the text in the footer area previously. That’s how I was able to put the copyright information that’s currently displayed there.
The issue is exactly that - when click on X > Theme Options - I get the spinning wheel and the ‘Theme Options’ never loads so I cannot edit anything at all in the theme! That’s what I’m trying to resolve, beyond just the small footer edit.
Why can you access Theme Options and I can’t ?

I can load the X > Theme Options with no problems encountered. It perfect works on my browser.
You may have installed several browser extensions which might be causing the issue. Can you please use temporarily disable your browser extensions or use private browsing mode and test your Theme Options again?
