This is a similar question to the one in this forum post
However, no solution was provided there and the problem seemed to go away for that user.
I am still having the problem, however, and when I scroll to the top of the page there is often a gap between the fixed menu and the top of the screen like so:
The faster you scroll to the top then the bigger the gap tends to be, however, even when scrolling up slowly there is a small gap at the top. As soon as you then scroll back down again, the menu goes back to it’s correct place at the top of the screen.
Strangely, even with the gap, the hover effects on the menu still work but only if you hover over the blank space where the menu is supposed to be and not where it appears to be.
So in the picture above my cursor (not captured by the screen capture function, unfortunately) is actually about 50 pixels (or so) higher than where the menu appears to be.
In addition, this does not happen if the top bar is enabled, nor does it happen in the content editor preview window. It also doesn’t appear to happen if the screen is shrunk down so that the mobile menu appears. It only appears to be a Safari issue as well.
It does happen on every page with the menu though, and is a very noticeable bug. Has anyone else had a similar issue or know of a fix?
