Effects mask only over exit

I have been playing around with the Beta and wondering how to apply a mask only to the Exit of a Scroll transform…?

@cvdw, can you elaborate on this some more, please? Perhaps providing some examples of sites showcasing what you’re trying to accomplish, and I can let you know if it’s possible or not. Thanks!

I’ve been playing around with the effect options in the Beta and set up this slider: https://vanderwyck.nl/wp/sliderkroy-2/

In Effecs the center image is defined by Scroll Transform Entance and the not active left and right image by the Exit with a Grayscale filter.

I try to make something like this slider https://kroymans.nl/stock/detail/?car=3033 so the left and right image are covered by a color overlay.

In filters there is no color overlay option, so I thought to accomplisch this by a Effects mask option as in the Beta. But in the mask option it is not possible to define the mast to the Entrance or Exit.

I hope it is clear now what I am playing with now. Is there an option to define a mask only to the Entrace or the Exit or what do you think what is the best way to give only the Exit a color overlay?

Best regards, Carel

Hey, @cvdw! Thanks for sharing all of that…this is outside the scope of the beta, so if you need feedback on this, please consult our general support forum. The basic idea is that you’d want to put some type of “overlay” layer in all your slides and then make its opacity 0 in the active ones and whatever value you need in the inactive ones, that would help you create a color overlay. This isn’t really a mask, it’s more of just using the interaction / scroll effects on your layers in your slides to show / hide them based on the active slide. There is more information on this in the general Slider Element documentation, and you will probably find this section of that article particularly helpful in your endeavors.

That’s all I can share here while we focus on getting the beta buttoned up, but if you need more assistance feel free to post about this in the general support forum.

Thanks!
