more than one year ago, I posted a request about using SCA for Stripe-Payments via your E&P Form Plugin:

Hi there, Stripe is actually informing customers in the EU, that a SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) will be neccesary starting september 14th 2019. https://stripe.com/docs/strong-customer-authentication Will stripe payment in the E&P form plugin be possible in future? Do I have to make any changes or will there be an update? Best regards Uli

Right now, Stripe customer support tells my customer this:

I can see that your integration uses token/charges, we both can see that here [Link to stripe Backend]. When the integration uses v1/tokens, v1/charges that means the integration is not SCA ready.

Can you provide an update for the E&P Form plugin, that is SCA ready? In Europe it’s not possible / allowed to use payments without SCA, so STRIPE will not accept them from european websites.

Unfortunately we do not yet have an update for this but will keep you in the loop if there are any changes.

Does that mean, the E&P plugin is useless for all customers in europe right now and my customer has to stop his business, while “beeing kept in the loop”???

Stripe informed all customers 2 years ago, that this will happen, so there was plenty of time to get this solved.
Stripe Payment is not possible without SCA => SCA is required in the EU => Without payment, there is no business.

So please ask the E&P developper to find a way to make credit card payments possible again within the next 2-3 days. It’s not about a minor bug!
