Stripe SCA / E&P Form

Hi there,

Stripe is actually informing customers in the EU, that a SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) will be neccesary starting september 14th 2019.

Will stripe payment in the E&P form plugin be possible in future? Do I have to make any changes or will there be an update?

Hello Uli,

Thanks for asking.

It’s difficult for us to comment on addition of new features into a plugin that comes bundled with X or Pro Theme. E&P form plugin is a 3rd party plugin developed by loopus. Even though it comes bundled with X and Pro Theme, we have limited say on addition or new features and functions.

My recommendation would be that you get in touch with the plugin developer and enquire about possible addition of Stripe into plugins payment options.

Hi Prasent,

it’s not about integrating something new. Stripe is - as you surely now - already integrated in E&P form. I’d only like to know, if it will be updated in future.

As E&P Form is a part of the pro-theme, I only have a business relation with you / apex / pro-theme, but none with loopus. And as far as I know, I will not get support by the plugins develloper, but by the apex team, right?

As this is no special requirement for me, but a problem every E&P user in the European Union will have, I hope an update will be there in time…

I did also contact loopus, and he just wrote:

"The plugin is already SCA ready, since the last version (9.681) "
