Difference between Templates and Global blocks?

Global Blocks gives you the ability to design something once and then utilize it throughout multiple pages or areas of your website. Down the road, if edits ever need to be made, you can go back to the separate Global Block control center and edit it once there, and then have those changes reflected throughout the entire website.

I am not quite sure of what do you mean by the templates, are you referring to layout builder? If yes, please check these docs that might help you differentiate the two functionality.

Just quick question:

For example, I want to design a button that I want to use everywhere but with different content inside the button. What should I use? Template or Global Block?

Hi @pavlito,

There’s no such option to do that using our native functionality. I suggest that you design a button then save it as a preset. Then you can reapply the design to the other button by using the preset option.
