Custom scrpt in Cornerstone

Hello, I am having trouble installing a custom script element into Cornerstone.

I am using an e-mail autoresponder in which I created an optin form for visitors to put in their email address to get onto my newsletter.

In order for me to put the optin form onto my website and make it work properly, I was given a custom script from the autoresponder software that I simply need to get onto the webpage and the optin form will appear as a new seperate element, able to be moved around, etc.

However, and I’ve been searching all around the forum, I can’t find any info on how to add a custom script to make an element in Cornerstone.

I am using X Pro theme.

It seems that you want to add a custom script to the Cornerstone. Please note there is no option to add the custom script. Please have a look at this article to learn more about how to insert custom code.

In case you want to create a custom element, it would require custom development. I would suggest you please contact a developer who can assist you with your concerns or subscribe to One where customization questions are answered. Please note we don’t provide custom development support. It is out of the support scope.

If this doesn’t work, then the other option that the autoresponder software has is that I can make an optin form on the website using whatever tool available and then connect it to my e-mail autoreponder account.

However, I haven’t been able to figure out how to make a simple optin form in Cornerstone (just a field for an e-mail and then to tick a confirmation box and hit a button to send the information).

Since Cornerstone was hailed as a direct-response friendly template I am sure it must have such a simple feature somewhere in it.

Can you help me with that?

Integrating 3rd party scripts to your website is outside the scope of our theme support. You may seek 3rd party developers to help you with your problems or you can avail One where we can answer questions outside of the features of our theme.

Hey Petr,

We are very sorry for the lack of information here. Though it’s true that we do not provide support for the actual integration of 3rd party scripts and issues that will arise from using 3rd party scripts, we have an element to display 3rd party scripts like that of email or form providers.

Just add the Raw Content element in your page and paste the code your email provider sent you in that element.
