Congrats and minmaxing the Max price

Hey, congrats for launching Max. It looks very interesting! :clap:t2:

I have one question regarding which package would be the best fit for Pro Unlimited users like me. If I understand correctly, there’s not much of an added value from Max to client sites under a Pro Unlimited plan since those (mostly not very tech savvy clients) wouldn’t use the courses and templates offered by Max anyway. I suppose that the best option would be to go for a single site Max subscription at $59/y to be used just on my own site?

Hey thanks a bunch!

Yeah if you have no interest in having this on client sites you can definitely do a single site, and then push up templates and pages to other sites. You can also disable Max on certain sites if you ever think of going the standalone route https://theme.co/docs/getting-started-with-max#disabling-max

Let me know if you have any other questions and have a great day!

Thanks @charlie

I read that there may be plugins as part of the Max subscription in the future. Would those plugins be usable on sites other than the one with the Max subscription associated with it?

Hey JvP,

They would be tied to Max validation.

Cheers!

All right, thanks Kyle :+1:t2:

Hey @kyle,

I’m still on the fence re: Max and have a question that would help me decide

You mention that Max plugins would need validation (ie a valid Max membership), I understand and accept that, but what would happen if the Max subscription is cancelled at some future point. would those plugins become unusable?

Hey Scot,

No, but you would lose access to updates similar to how you’d lose access to Max content if cancelled. One of the things I’m personally excited about is the ability to explore this hybrid of tech and training. For example, we have one substantial topic we are investigating that is pretty bleeding edge. We would need something beyond just a template to distribute the package/resources, hence the need (potentially) for plugins in the future.

Thank you @kyle, that makes the decision easier, poor timing financially as its been an expensive 2023 personally. I can see the potential value though so will join up and see where it leads
