Hello, I have gone through a lot of the posts on the forum about changing the layout of the search result page and there really hasn’t been much success or any clear outlines to use for reference. My current search result page is hideous and I can’t get any of the changes I have come across to change the layout. I would like to spread out the width of my products on the page so it looks better. I have used the inspect tool to move things around but duplicating the process in the additional CSS section will not take effect on the site. Could you please assist me with my issue?

Thanks for writing in! Your search results page has a blank sidebar which is why the products seem to have been staying mostly on the left side. We recommend that you check out your Main Sidebar in Appearance > Sidebars and make sure that there are widgets to display on the sidebar.
If you still want to redesign the search results page, you can create a custom layout with the Pro > Layout builder. You can simply assign your custom layout to only display on search results. To bet familiar with the layout builder, kindly check out this first:
