Hi, I am trying to build a blog page with pagination for a site im working on. The site is built with x theme and cornerstone. The page will pull from a post category. The current blog was built using a component and loopers and I have duplicated that setup for the new page. however I am unable to connect the Post Pagination element within that component in the new page. I have read through some posts that confirm the Post Pagination cannot be used this way and I am most likely going to need to use an archive template. Can you tell me the best way to approach this from within cornerstone in x theme. I cannot post a link to the page publicly but will send a link to the dev page if I can do so privately. Thank you.

Please note that the Post pagination element works on the archive page layout and single post layout. Since you are using the X theme, there is no option for the custom archive layout or custom single layout so you can not insert the Post pagination element. In order to create a custom archive layout with the Post pagination element I would suggest you please upgrade the X theme to the Pro theme where you would get the layout builder.

Thank you for your response. The existing site was built with x theme a year ago. It is a complete site. Will the upgrade to Pro break the existing site?
Hey Eric,
If you upgrade your X to Pro, what you have right now will still remain the same because X and Pro have the same code base they only differ with advanced feature.
